Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Last Updated: August 27, 2026

At GoMaxoo Digital Pvt. Ltd. (“GoMaxoo”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), we are committed to delivering professional digital marketing, website development, and related services to our clients.

Because many of our services involve dedicated time, planning, strategy, development, creative work, advertising setup, content production, and third-party expenses, our cancellation and refund terms vary depending on the nature and stage of the service.

This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, credits, and service termination requests are handled.

By purchasing or engaging GoMaxoo’s services, you acknowledge and agree to this policy, together with our Terms of Service.

1. Services Covered

This policy applies to services provided by GoMaxoo, including but not limited to:

  • WordPress website design and development

  • Website redesign and development

  • Landing page development

  • SEO services

  • Local SEO

  • Google Ads management

  • Meta Ads management

  • Social media marketing

  • Email marketing

  • Content marketing

  • Copywriting and content creation

  • Marketing strategy and consulting

  • Digital marketing retainers

  • Other services described in a proposal, quotation, invoice, or service agreement

The terms of a specific written service agreement may supersede this policy where expressly stated.

2. Project-Based Services

For project-based services such as website development, landing pages, content projects, or other one-time engagements, work may begin after the required advance payment or initial payment has been received.

Once work has commenced, payments generally become non-refundable because GoMaxoo may have already committed:

  • Staff time

  • Design and development resources

  • Project planning

  • Research

  • Content production

  • Software or third-party resources

  • Project management time

  • Other business resources

If a client requests cancellation after work has started, GoMaxoo may determine the amount payable based on the work completed and costs incurred.

Any refund, if applicable, will be considered after deducting amounts relating to work already performed and non-refundable third-party costs.

3. Advance Payments

Advance payments, deposits, setup fees, or initial project payments may be required before work begins.

Unless otherwise stated in a written agreement, an advance payment reserves project resources and authorizes GoMaxoo to begin the agreed work.

Once substantial work has commenced, the advance payment may be non-refundable.

Where a project-specific agreement contains different payment or refund terms, those terms will apply.

4. Monthly Retainer Services

SEO, social media marketing, advertising management, email marketing, and other ongoing services may be provided on a monthly or recurring basis.

For monthly services:

  • The applicable monthly fee covers the services and resources allocated for that service period.

  • Cancellation requests should be submitted before the next billing or service period begins.

  • Fees for a service period that has already started are generally non-refundable.

  • Work already performed during the applicable billing period remains payable.

  • Third-party advertising spend and other committed costs are not refundable by GoMaxoo.

Where a client has entered into a fixed-term agreement, the cancellation provisions of that agreement will apply.

5. Advertising Spend

Advertising budgets paid to platforms such as Google, Meta, or other advertising networks are separate from GoMaxoo’s professional service fees unless expressly stated otherwise.

Once advertising funds have been charged by or committed to a third-party advertising platform, GoMaxoo cannot guarantee that those amounts can be recovered.

GoMaxoo is not responsible for refunds of advertising spend controlled by third-party platforms.

Any refund issued by an advertising platform will be subject to that platform’s own policies and procedures.

6. Third-Party Costs

Some projects may involve third-party costs, including:

  • Domain registration

  • Web hosting

  • Premium WordPress themes

  • Premium plugins

  • Software licenses

  • APIs

  • Email platforms

  • Advertising platforms

  • Stock images or media

  • SaaS subscriptions

  • Other third-party services

Third-party costs that have already been purchased, committed, or incurred on behalf of a client may be non-refundable.

7. Cancellation by the Client

A client may request cancellation by contacting GoMaxoo at:

info@gomaxoo.com

The cancellation request should include:

  • Client or business name

  • Relevant service or project

  • Reason for cancellation, if the client wishes to provide one

  • Requested cancellation date

Cancellation is not considered effective until GoMaxoo confirms the request in writing.

For recurring services, submitting a cancellation request does not automatically cancel amounts that have already become due.

8. Cancellation Before Work Begins

If a client requests cancellation before GoMaxoo has begun work, GoMaxoo may review the request and determine whether a refund is appropriate.

Any refund may be reduced by:

  • Payment processing charges

  • Third-party costs already incurred

  • Administrative costs

  • Other expenses already committed to the project

The final determination will depend on the applicable service agreement and circumstances of the engagement.

9. Cancellation After Work Has Started

If a client cancels after work has started, fees relating to work already completed or resources already committed will remain payable.

Depending on the project, completed work may include:

  • Strategy and planning

  • Research

  • Design

  • Development

  • Content creation

  • SEO work

  • Campaign setup

  • Advertising configuration

  • Account setup

  • Project management

  • Reporting

  • Other agreed services

Any potential refund will be evaluated after considering the work completed and costs incurred.

10. Client Delays and Inactivity

Projects may be delayed when a client does not provide required information, approvals, content, account access, or feedback.

If a project remains inactive because of client delays for an extended period, GoMaxoo may:

  • Pause the project

  • Reschedule the project

  • Adjust the delivery timeline

  • Require additional fees for restarting the project

  • Treat the project as cancelled or terminated where appropriate

Payments for work already completed are not automatically refundable because of client-caused delays.

11. Website Projects and Deliverables

For website development and other project-based services, the client is responsible for reviewing deliverables and providing timely feedback.

If a client chooses to discontinue a project after GoMaxoo has completed part of the agreed work, the client may remain responsible for fees associated with work completed up to the cancellation date.

Where applicable, GoMaxoo may provide completed paid-for deliverables after outstanding amounts have been paid.

12. SEO Services

SEO services involve ongoing work and resource allocation.

Because SEO activities may include research, technical optimization, content development, local optimization, competitor analysis, reporting, and other work performed throughout a service period, fees for a service period that has already commenced are generally non-refundable.

Cancellation of an SEO service will not automatically reverse charges for work already performed.

SEO results are not guaranteed, and cancellation or refund eligibility is not determined by whether a particular ranking, traffic level, lead volume, or business result has been achieved.

13. Social Media and Content Services

Social media marketing, content creation, email campaigns, and similar services may involve advance planning and production.

Once content has been researched, written, designed, scheduled, produced, or otherwise prepared, the associated work may be non-refundable.

Unused deliverables may be handled according to the applicable project agreement.

14. Refund Processing

Where GoMaxoo determines that a refund is applicable, the refund will generally be issued using the original payment method where reasonably possible.

The time required for the refund to appear in the client’s account may depend on the payment processor or financial institution.

GoMaxoo is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment processors, card networks, or other financial institutions.

15. Payment Processing Fees

Where a refund is approved, GoMaxoo may deduct non-refundable payment processing charges or other third-party transaction costs that GoMaxoo cannot recover, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

16. No Refund for Lack of Expected Results

GoMaxoo provides digital marketing and technology services but does not guarantee specific business outcomes.

A client is not automatically entitled to a refund because expected results were not achieved.

Results may be affected by factors outside GoMaxoo’s control, including:

  • Search engine algorithm changes

  • Advertising platform changes

  • Competition

  • Market conditions

  • Client website changes

  • Advertising budgets

  • Product or service quality

  • Pricing

  • Customer demand

  • Client responsiveness

  • Website conversion rates

  • Business reputation

  • Third-party platform decisions

Specific performance expectations, where any are applicable, will be governed by the relevant service agreement.

17. Unauthorized Charges

If you believe that a payment or charge was made without your authorization, please contact us as soon as possible at:

info@gomaxoo.com

We may request information necessary to investigate the transaction.

Where appropriate, we will work with the relevant payment provider to investigate and resolve unauthorized transactions.

18. Disputes and Chargebacks

If you have a concern regarding a charge, service, deliverable, or cancellation, we encourage you to contact GoMaxoo first so that we can review the matter and attempt to resolve it.

You may contact us at:

info@gomaxoo.com

Clients should not initiate an improper or fraudulent chargeback for services that have been provided or amounts that are legitimately due.

Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies available under applicable law.

19. Exceptions

GoMaxoo may, at its discretion, consider exceptional refunds, credits, partial refunds, or other resolutions based on the circumstances of an individual case.

Examples may include:

  • Duplicate payments

  • Significant billing errors

  • Services that GoMaxoo is unable to provide

  • Other exceptional circumstances determined by GoMaxoo

Any exception will be evaluated individually and does not create an obligation to provide the same resolution in another case.

20. Cancellation by GoMaxoo

GoMaxoo may suspend or terminate services where:

  • Required payments are not made.

  • The client materially breaches the Terms of Service or applicable agreement.

  • The client requests unlawful activities.

  • The client provides misleading or fraudulent information.

  • The client engages in abusive or threatening conduct.

  • Continuing the engagement creates unreasonable legal, security, or reputational risk.

  • A required third-party platform prevents GoMaxoo from providing the service.

Where GoMaxoo terminates an engagement for reasons unrelated to a client breach, GoMaxoo may, where appropriate, review whether a refund or credit is warranted for prepaid services that have not yet been performed.

21. Non-Transferability

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payments and services purchased for a specific client, business, or project may not be transferred to another person, company, or project.

22. Relationship With Other Policies

This Cancellation & Refund Policy should be read together with GoMaxoo’s:

  • Terms of Service

  • Privacy Policy

  • Applicable proposal, quotation, invoice, statement of work, or service agreement

Where a written service agreement contains specific cancellation or refund terms that differ from this policy, the specific written agreement will control for that engagement.

23. Changes to This Policy

GoMaxoo may update this Cancellation & Refund Policy from time to time.

When changes are made, the updated policy will be posted on this page and the “Last Updated” date will be revised.

Clients should periodically review this page for updates.

Changes to this policy will not automatically modify cancellation or refund terms already expressly agreed in a separate written contract, unless permitted by that agreement.
